Took my General exam in Stillwater at the library. Thanks to the VEs from SARC.
Passed with flying colors! Oh, what a world the General license opens up!
I made this infographic to explain to a non-ham friend how much less restrictive the General is.
Purple is all the new stuff I get to play with.
For now, 20 meters is my playground. I’ve discovered POTA, even if only as a hunter (for now). Twenty seems to be really hoppin’ for that activity.
If you are a tech, I highly recommend you chase your upgrade. If you aren’t a ham, I hope you soon become one, it’s a great hobby!
